Founder Kayla Brewer-Cheek opened Voda in 2017 From day one the goal was to offer attainable fashion and give women a comfortable, and inclusive place to shop. Full-Time Sales Lead
As a Retail Sales Lead, you will play a key role in driving store performance and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will lead by example, providing top-notch customer service while overseeing daily operations and supporting the sales team. Your upbeat and friendly demeanor will contribute to a positive store atmosphere and foster strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Customer Service Excellence: Deliver outstanding service by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored product recommendations. Resolve any customer concerns promptly and professionally.

- Sales Leadership: Lead the sales team by example, demonstrating effective sales techniques and encouraging a high level of performance. Motivate team members to achieve individual and store-wide sales goals.

- Store Operations: Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management. Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing at all times.

- Training & Development: Assist in training and onboarding new team members, providing ongoing guidance and feedback to enhance their skills and performance.

- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest trends and product offerings. Share your knowledge with customers and team members to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience.

- Sales Reporting: Monitor sales performance and provide insights to management regarding sales trends, customer feedback, and areas for improvement.

 Qualifications:

-Customer Service Experience: Proven experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service.

- Apparel Retail Experience: Prior experience in the apparel retail industry is preferred, as well as a solid understanding of fashion trends and product knowledge.

- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Friendly & Upbeat Attitude: A positive, enthusiastic approach to customer service and teamwork.

- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, with keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Flexibility: Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Social Media Content Creator

This is an in-person role for a Social Media Photo & Video Content Creator. As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for creating high-quality photo and video content for our social media channels. You will be capturing the essence of our brand and showcasing our products in a visually appealing way. This role requires you to work closely with our marketing team to plan and execute content creation strategies.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in photography and videography
  • Experience in creating engaging and visually appealing content for social media
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and trends
  • Strong creative and storytelling skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience being in front of, and behind the camera
  • Experience in the fashion industry and knowledge of fashion trends

  • Up to 15 hours per week with two weekend days per month required. Willingness to work non-traditional hours; weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.
